So I tried hitting the love button online and got the following message:
REQUEST CREDIT LIMIT INCREASE
Thank you for your interest in a credit limit increase. To complete your request, we need more information. Please call the Customer Care team at 1-855-810-2546 (TDD/TTY: 1-888-819-1918) at your earliest convenience.
I called customer care and they said they "need more information" from me. They advise they will mail out a letter in the mail with details on what they need from me??? For a credit limit increase?
Has anyone else had this happen to them? What kind of verification do they need? I'm a little confused, any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Do you have any fraud alerts on your credit reports?
I kept getting that message when I had them. Also they keep saying my phone numbers were not listed with the bureaus. It was frustrating.
Yeah, that has happen to a few people. Your best bet is to wait and try again.

I got that same message when I requested a CLI while my credit reports were frozen.
No message like that, but when I try for CLI online I get the 7-10 day letters stating that they "can't verify my credit history" or something to that affect. I have no issues with my other Comenity accounts, even with frozen CRs. It's been 4 months since my last CLI for Overstock.

Got a very similar message from VS. Called and they said to wait until early August and they will give me another increase. Not sure what they wanted other than an info update?
Yeah i tried calling them again and they cannot tell me anything over the phone. I don't get the same message for Jcrew or Express, only on OS. I did receive a fraud alert on Experian about a month ago because I cancelled one of my credit cards due to fraud, so I guess the account updated and Experian auto tagged my reports for 'fraud alert'. It said it would remain on there for 90 days ..
Maybe that's why they cannot process it online and told me to wait for the letter? Can I call Experian to have them remove the fraud alert on my CR?
