A little over a week ago I emailed the EO. I got two calls back, and a letter. I called the number provided and asked to be transferred to the EO office. After a long hold I spoke with someone. I told her I wanted a higher limit that my recent increase to $800. I told her I have a recurring purchase of $1300, and I want to put it on my card to get cash back. She said she could do a manual review. She took down my income, employment status, rent, etc. She asked what limit I would like and I replied $1500. She said she would send it to the underwriter for review. She indicated it would be a soft pull. She said it will be 4 to 5 business days for a decision. So, guess I'll wait.
Way to strike back.
That's great but while you've got their ear you should aim higher. You could have easily asked for 3k at that point and justified it by telling them you had the one recurring and you wanted to make it your daily spend acct for gas, food and incidentals. I hear that the CLI with a regular QS are bigger anyway so every 6mths you should get a better bang.
