POI....????

Never had a cc company ask for POI...Now one is requesting paystubs and w2.......Im good with paystub, it direct deposit..but I believe a redacted W2 will have to be sent....state id #..fed# control# will be blacked out......I believe they ought to do some leg work

Re: POI....????

If you redact they may deny or worse.  Just send the requested docs as asked for.

Re: POI....????

Worse? Lol. I'm ok with a denial. I am allowed to blank out anything on any forms of mine. There's no law against that...to my knowledge anyhow

Re: POI....????

There's no law either that they need to issue a card or keep it open if you don't submit the requested docs.  It's their discretion since it's their money.  Stuff like this is why they do 4506 requests directly from the IRS.

Re: POI....????

I understand they need a signed doc from me to get the 4056?

If they go this route then you'll get a copy to fill out and mail back to them.  If it's AMEX you can submit them online.

Re: POI....????

Why black anything out, unless you are trying to hide something? You have stated in a previous post that you have inflated income by 10k or so on apps in the past, is this the issue?
NFCU $60.4k/PenFed $22.5k/Commerce $15K/53 $11K/Synovus $14K/BBT $11K/CapOne $12K/DCU $7.5K/BMO $7.5K/Chase $14.5k/Cabelas $10K/ and many many more!
Total CL $398600, plus car and RV loan.
Ooh. Ooh. Getting closer to that $500K mark!

Re: POI....????

Thx guy/gals, on re-thought, I see some faulty, habitual thinking. I'll just send them.

Re: POI....????

I'm different I guess. I don't mind sending pay stubs or bank statements but I refuse to give tax info. I get that they want to verify my income but tax docs are just too much for me-too much info, could get in the wrong hands. But I would be willing to accept the denial for not complying too. First I would call and talk to someone but if they didn't agree to just use it paystubs and bank direct deposit proof then I would kindly withdrawal the application.
