PP Extra MC CLI Denied

Hi everyone

Card was opened as a store card and later graduated to a MC. 3 years later, the CL sits at $20k.  Someone claimed they have seen a $25 limit on this card and my mouse finger began to twitch.  Called CS and requested a $25k limit.  The rep reviewed  my account  and asked me what my current income was and I told him. He then immediately commented "You want a $25k limit with an income of

$xx,xxx ?? I flubbed the answer totally,  never having been asked this question before by CS.  At this point I knew i was going to be denied.  He put me on hold for 30 seconds and came right back with the bad news. 

Got the letter yesterday which stated I am currently at max limit for the card. No credit pull was used.  I think if my income was higher, this would have been posted in the approval section

Logged on today to Discover and hit the love button. Nuttin

AND ....I didnt get my stim check today

Dang Meanie! Sorry my friend. That is actually first time  ive ever heard this . Id be flabbergasted too if they asked my income lol, in comparison to what we ask for. I fear most people will have to be happy with the limits they have or risk eyes on account

It wasnt that they asked me my salary, it was like what could you possible do with a $25k limit when you dont make alot of money

So sorry Meanie. That's exactly why I never request that much. I wouldn't know how to respond to that question if asked. I suppose I would just be saying that I don't want to use more than 10% of my card for scoring purposes 😂
