Path to Apple Card Question

Hi folks!

I apped for the Apple Card this morning and enrolled in Path to Apple - they are wanting to see 4 months of timely payments and me to bring down revolving balances by around $3200 (which is easily doable!) Has anyone else completed this program? If so, what was the credit limit and APR?

Thanks for the advice Smiley Happy

Re: Path to Apple Card Question

I got into the program with scores lower than yours. I was on the 4 month plan, my util at the time was like 16% and their advice was just to make payments on time, and keep my util under 30% for four months. Two weeks later I decided to buy the new Studio display that was just released. When I got to the checkout page the apply button was there, so I figured what the heck and hit it. Approved for $1800 at 22.94%. Easily my highest limit, and not worried about the APR as I won't carry a balance. Was so excidted I didn't even end up buying the display.

Re: Path to Apple Card Question

Hmm, this is good knowledge. I've applied probably 20-30x over the past year and this is the first time I received an invitation to Path to Apple so I'm afraid another application may take me out of that program

Re: Path to Apple Card Question

They actually had me on a 9 month program. They mainly wanted me to take care of two unpaid charge offs.

I ended up applying again 2 months in and got approved for $1200.
limit is up to $2700 now after 7 months.

Charge offs are still there. Set to fall of early next year.

@Relatxbles hey, from all the posts and comments I've read from people in the "Path to Apple Card" program, applying for the Apple card before completing the program will not kick you out of it.  If you apply and are approved if you chose to accept their Apple Card offer they will remove you. They even acknowledge and congratulate you, that they see you've been approved and will now remove you from the program.  If you are declined you'll continue to remain in the program.

Also as @simi_go has mentioned with their experience, I also was approved for the Apple Card by going on the Apple website and adding items to my cart. At check out I chose the option to apply for the Apple Card to use their installment program on the items in my cart. That's how I FINALLY got approved after countless denials. They don't even make you buy the items in your cart after your approval. In all likelihood if you load up the cart with a lot of items, the value of them will be higher than your approved limit. They let you choose to use a different payment method, remove some items that your Apple Card limit can buy and then proceed to checkout, or cancel the order entirely. Before doing anything I just went to my iPhone Wallet and clicked the plus button in the top right corner. I hit accept Apple Card offer, I ordered my titanium card and then I went back on the Apple Website and cancelled the entire order. Best wishes to you whenever you decide to apply again!
