Hello, all. I applied for Pay Pal credit on the 23th of March. got a letter a week ago saying that a representative would contact me, and that there was a fraud alert on my account.
But there is no number on the letter & no one has called. Does anyone know what # I should call to check on it?

I did some Google'n & found this number 1-866-528-3733. I typed in an incorrect 16 digit account number, which xfered me to an agent. They asked for my phone number. The rep said she couldn't find my account. I told her that there was definitely an inquiry on my reports. She said "if you don't hear from someone apply again"....I replied "Yeah, I'm not going to waste another inquiry because nothing has changed"
She took my name & number & told me that someone would be calling me. I said "okay, ty" but in my head thinking yeah right.
Two minutes pass & she calls me back. Apparently once the call ended my account automagically disappeared. She said "I'm going to push the 15K credit line through(if you're still wanting the account); I said YES! . She mentioned that it could take up to 24 hours.
I'm hopeful now, but how solid is that 15K credit line? All I wanted was about 2K

15k sounds out of wack to be honest for paypal credit,, especially if you current scores are relected in your signature.. I am guessing she possibly meant $1500? Log in your paypal account and see what it says for paypal credit. As stated I really havent heard of any people that have 15k with paypal credit even with 800 scores that i know of.. Typical is 1-5k range.

So, I did just get an email but it's only a $250 credit line. But, they never asked for my income. I wonder if that's the reason.
Okay, update.
I linked the paypal credit to my paypal account, and it says I have a 1,500 SL!

Question,
With PayPal credit lets say I sent $500 to a friend to buy an item, would it still be 6 Months no interest ? I know I can do that with Ebay, but didn't know if it applied to any purchase over $100.
