I did, lol, but the expectations of getting a big one are low haha. I love PF dont get me wrong, its just its, disheartening to see eveything improving yet with them, my score keeps dropping. I guess it could be my Eq but who knows. At least with Navy there is chance at a sp cli, whereas with Pf, for me seems nonexistant. I almost look at my PF visa same as my Chase Amazon card, dead in tracks at current limits no room to grow. Ah well sorry guys, must be my Friday blues lol, sorry for jacking BruisedSmiley Sad. I'm right there with you on PenFed, when I asked for a CLI right after approval, they were going to double it but wanted POI which I declined lol, I'll be eagerly waiting for that CLI offer every quarter right next to you.

Thanks to all who contributed. I hear you about penfed and giving them one more chance at making something happen. Penfed used to be on the order of Navy with huge SL right out of the gate but they swiftly clamped down on things over the last year or so. Every increase I requested on my products have been like pulling teeth. If no pre approvals this next AR I will be placing them on the back burner and dedicating my time/ spend strictly to Navy Fed.

Re: Pen Fed Application days after a fresh AR

Since bruisedcredit got what he wanted I thought I'd tag on my question. I got approved for Powercash Rewards in May, but for a very low $500 CL. But I thought, OK, I'll work with it. I pushed $1500 through it in 2 months to get the $100 spend bonus, and it wasn't easy with that low Cl & being in the first 6 months membership which means among other things payments on a CC don't get released to available credit for 10 days, even when paid from a Penfed checking account.

I finally got approved for my Penfed $25k Home equity line of credit this week, but they did 2nd HP on 8/9. I was thinking I'd wait for the Oct. account review to see if I get a CLI offer. But with that 8/9 HP I'm thinking I should go ahead & request a CLI. I really don't need a CLI as since PCR I got a PayPal 2% Cashback w/$7k CL. But I just hate having a CC with that low a CL. My average CL is $7.8K, with highs of Cap One Quicksilver $20k CL (by combining 2 $10k QS's), and Amex BCE w/$15k CL; even Barclays is $13.2k. So the Penfed $500k hurts my sensitive ego. What d'ya'll think?

I think $500k is nothing to sneeze at but it doesn't hurt to try with the recent HP.
