PenFed CC Application Status Question

My PenFed friends, I need some help on something different I noticed today on my CC application from October.........

I applied for a CC in October when I opened the checking/savings, on the application status page it has always said Turned Down - Pyramiding  Debts.  

I applied for a car refinance and it was approved online and on the status page, I get Application -> Review -> Almost Done -> Complete    

TODAY, I logged in and my CC application no longer says Turned Down - Pyramiding Debts, it shows the same thing as my car loan (Application -> Review -> Almost Done -> Complete).  

Anyone know what is going on or does it automatically switch over to this after a period of time, even if denied or is it some type of website glitch?  I was looking for statements and just happened to click on this and I don't  have enough experience with them to know if this is normal or not.

AFAIK, this is normal. The application in question eventually updates with the correct status and eventually drops off from the applications page since it's already been decisioned.

If it had been submitted for reconsideration then the status would have changed to that of a Loan Officer review.

Whew, that's good to know.  I don't need anything funny going on because I'm in the begining stages of buying a house.  It just surprised me to see it change, wasn't expecting that!

Lol, I don't want any good luck right now - I'm trying to get a mortgage. I'm good with the denial (it was expected), I was hoping to confirm it switches over to "complete" after a period of time once turned down.

I don't want to have to explain a CC. I think my mortgage broker would lose it on me!!!! I don't see anything on my account tab, so I'm hoping it's just status quo........
