Congratulations! As one of our premier members, we are pleased to inform you that you are pre-approved for:
Auto Loan: 15,000 - (Used or new)
Or any of the credit cards with 15,000 limit.
They gave me the option to select any one.
What a nice surprise. While I have all the cards I want and need, I couldn't help but have my eyes on the AmEx for 20,000 points sign up bonus!
Note: I have a 20,000 line of credit with PenFed. Never used it.
Credit score: 760; Apps in the last 6 months: 5+ I have a lot of cards. No debt.
Edited to add: I got approved for the AmEx. It was approved immediately. No credit pull. Sweet!!! ![]()
That's an awesome pre-approval. I haven't got any credit products with them yet having just joined a month or so ago and I'm just working on growing my NFCU relationship, but they seem very awesome so far. That AMEX offer does sound sweet though.
Yes, the best offer there was. The preapproval had no credit pull. It was approved immediate per member services.
I got one of those too, but it was only for an auto loan; I already took the preapproved credit card offer via my member page at Penfed over Independence Day weekend. The paradoxical thing is that I have a 5-month-old used-car loan; is Penfed expecting me to trade the car in and get a new model or something?
They said it's their new card. PenFed American Express Travel with 20k points after certain amount of spend.
