I'm a little past my 91/3 on my cashRewards card. Put the request in this afternoon around 3-4pm. Received the 24-48 hour message. A little on the fence about it as I was recently was let out of the "unsecured" credit dog house just 3 months ago. Utilization on the card is a little high, my request was very low.
All things considered, I'm tip toeing towards a strategy with my NFCU cards of $5k on each card. Eventually, considering a PC to Flagship in March 2024. In the meantime, work on utilization and continue to do what I'm doing. Paying on-time and no new accounts. We shall see...
The few CLI's I did get with More Rewards was never instant when I was trying back then. One was the next day another 2 days later. Hope that helps. Good luck!
Good luck! Though if you do PC to the Flagship, you won't get the signup bonus.
If you haven't heard back by now, you may have requested too early.
A couple times I requested too early. I just requested again after I realized my mistake and was approved.

@pakratus At this point it's looking like denied. Haven't even heard a pin drop. I'll wait for something in the mail... I'll give it till this weekend. Friday will make a week since I asked for the request.

@sznthescore, Have you logged in to NFCU and checked your credit limits?

If I read your post incorrectly please disregard. The way I read it you requested a cli 91/3 on the cash rewards after it graduated?
If thats correct than perhaps I know why you might get denied. I have read several posts where NFCU considers graduating a card from secured to unsecured a cli since when they graduate a card it usually comes with a cli.
In the case of a recently graduated card you have to wait at least 181 days and 6 full statements, ymmv
@M_Smart007 Yes, and there's no soup for me. Could be that I'm a taste to early. I only asked for $900 😩 lol but it's all good. I just stepped into the unsecured arena so I understand. 😏

You reading it correctly, but I can see where you're confused. I got the cashRewards you see in signature on a cold app, it was unsecured that's the card in question. The moreRewards was the nRewards (secured). When it graduated to cashRewards I had it PC'd to the moreRewards.
Overall you're correct and I understand.

Thanks for clarifying. Now I understand.
So far I got a cli on both my cards with every request, never instant, always 24 - 48 hour review.
On the month side I wait until 7 months between cli requests just to be safe.
Have you checked your messages on your account page? I once requested a interest rate reduction and I was denied but at least they sent me a message telling me the details.
