Popup from Amazon!!!

 Has anyone recieved a popup from Amazon for pre-approval? If anyone did tell me how did come about please.

There are no pop ups for Amazon.  Only Comenity Bank does th pop ups and Anazon is either Synchrony Bsnk or Chase depending on the product.

I got a pop up for the Amazon Visa yesterday.   I get them for the store card all the time.  I applied last year but I was denied.

It's not the same kind of popup as the OP is talking about.

 When they popup do it say pre approve or it just say you will get 30.00 dollars and when you apply for the visa or store card?

It's only the latter.  It is just marketing to get you to apply for the card.  The only pop ups you get that are 'pre approvals' are the Comenity Bank ones.

A pre-approval is NOT an approval.  Yes, that may be the offer but it is just an wnticement for you to apply and you can get declined if your credit is not up to par..

Not just Comenity. Barclay had/has a popup for Williams Sonoma Visa as well. I had the popup last year, have the card, no inquiry.
