Agreed. with your current scores. you will not be really getting many prime card offers. regardless of util. youve been paying on time for 5 months. that is not going to get it. it will take 2 years for that late to diminish on your scores. and it still will have an affect. at this point just keep doing what you are doing and let your scores grow with time. good luck.

I have received exactly ONE offer in the mail. I got it 13 months ago from Cap 1 for the Platinum card. I took the offer, got $300 in credit steps. I have never received another offer in the mail. I got a few cards through online pre-quals (QS1, Venture, Freedom) the rest were all cold apps.

Hehe I cant get prequald for anything really....just got send an offer for a 2nd First Premier card LOL not gonna happen. I did get a prequal from a local bank that I accpeted and I saw they pulled my EQ but I have yet to call to check the status; I had a card with them like 10yrs ago that I never used so I closed. At least the hard pull made my score jump 8pt so even if it was a denial oh well.
