I got my freedom card just over 4months ago now, was approved for 4k they increased me to 5K. I was also pre approved for the slate and csp. My other card is a QS1 which just turned a year old and now has a 3K limit. I do want a CSP but cannot justify the 4K spent until probably feb when i book an overseas trip. IN the meantime i fly southwest alot at least 3 times a year to visit my parents i dont think co branded cards come up for pre approvals correct me if im wrong? Do you think id get a decent limit if i flat out applied for a SW card? My Real fico's are 698-699 and 701, income 53K have a judgement from 6years ago and a paid collection from 1.5 years ago for 350bucks from sprint/west asset management company showing on my file. Otherwise no lates or anything bad for the last 4.5 yrs AAOA 7yrs, 4-5 inq across the board with 2 falling off every report this Feb. Thoughts?

If you're getting prequal for CSP I'm sure you'd get SW. Since CSP is a min $5k limit and co-branded cards are usually more generous than non-co-branded, I'd bet the limit would be decent.
If the CSP is important to you in the future, remember Chase's current rule of less than 5 cards in two years. Sounds like you're fine now, but just something to keep in mind. GL.

Well nothing is guaranteed but you do think I would have a excellent chance at the southwest card with a decent limit if I applied?
If you don't have a need for the CSP then go for the SouthWest card. Now before you do so, what are your FICO scores?

You will be fine as you are getting pre-approvals for other cards.. Apply for the Southwest card and report back with results. The pre-approvals on other chase cards is a good measure on whether you will be approved for another card. So apply away.

If I applied to the premier but they didn't approve me would they give me a plus card or is that an entirely separate app?
No, if you apply for the premier and get denied you'd have to do a new app. for the plus card.

I sure hope I get it I would hate to have to burn multiple hard pulls
With Chase, you only get 1 hp when you apply. A few have reported 2 pulls but it is rare. Report back with results when you apply.
