What u said is right. they dont have preapprovals for the co-branded cards.
I had this same doubt last year, whether I can get the hyatt card if i was preapproved for the CSP. And it turned out the answer is Yes.
Just like you, I was preapproved for the Slate and CSP, I applied for the Hyatt and CSP. I had to call and they gave me approvals for 13k and 12k respectively.Even though I was preapproved for the CSP, it was not an instant approval. I had to call in.
But chase recon has changed their rules now, it was so easy earlier. If you dont have any many cards with them for the last 24 months, then you will surely get the Southwest. Be ready to call the backdoor after the app.
