Propel Approval odds?

Hello,

Was wondering if anyone thinks I'm likely to be approved for a Wells Fargo Propel. Sort of new to the credit card World. Opened a TD Bank Cash Card in May, and a Capital One Venture in June. Denied for Amazon Chase Visa and Sapphire Preferred prior to that. Credit Karma says all my scores are sitting right around 700. All payments on time, but have a mass of student loans from Law School. Those payments have been made consistently for the last two years. Thanks for your reply.

Welcome to My Fico 000Welcome.gif

Honestly, people will be able to offer advice a lot more accurately if you get your real Fico scores..

The CK scores are not Fico and they're not the scores cc's use to determine eligibility. Income and uti/over-all card limits & balances, number of inquiries will also be important.

Re: Propel Approval odds?

Hello,

I'll consider getting Fico scores. Right now, $15,000 credit limit, income around $50k, and utilization at 7% or so.

Re: Propel Approval odds?

Those stats look good..

There's a trial site where you can get them for $1 and then just cancel before they bill you.

I don't know it but somebody should post soon that does.. If I find it, I'll edit & add the site name/link

Good Luck!!

Welcome to the forums. If you visit Credit Check Total's website, you can get your Ficos for $1. Be sure to cancel by phone within the 7 day trial period.

Best wishes!

Just a heads up. There is an understanding that having a relationship with Wells Fargo will assist in credit app approvals. You may want to consider opening a checking account with them.

Re: Propel Approval odds?

OP, aside from the student loans, are those the only 2 revolving tradelines that you have?

Re: Propel Approval odds?

Hello,
Those are the only other lines of credit I have. I sort of realized it was becoming time to build credit and get rewards for spending at the same time. So yeah, just recently opened, only a few months old.

Re: Propel Approval odds?

The only thing that comes to mind that may decrease the odds is your fairly short history with your other CCs.

Maybe others who've been approved with similar stats can chime in.

Re: Propel Approval odds?

I just got approved with Fico average around 740.

No prior relationship with Wells Fargo.

BK 5 years ago.

Propel is one of my lowest limits but I PIF anyway so we will see if it grows.

If I remember correctly, I had to list my income not household income.
