Re: Pulled the trigger on Citi Prestige

Some things in the credit world you just can't speed up... Just going to have to play by their rules, sorry..  I am impatient as well and know your pain, not on this card but others.

Agree.  I guess I would be the patient one Smiley Wink

OP, Citi can move slow with the additional verification items - just FYI.  Let's see which one lands in your mailbox before year-end... Ritz or Prestige.   As of recent, I haven't heard of Prestige being overnighted (let alone expedited).

Re: Pulled the trigger on Citi Prestige

Citigold checking is sitting open.

I may open a savings and fund it with Arrival+

I had sock-drawered the Arrival+ ever since they bumped the redemption threshold but a healthy "miles" balance I could likely use up for a hotel stay or something.

it's still weird how Citi doesn't have my SSA form received yet. And i faxed it on Saturday.

Re: Pulled the trigger on Citi Prestige

Called Citi again to confirm if form 89 was received (faxed on the weekend) and nothing.   Not even attached to an app/profile in their system/

i hope this is the norm.

Yes, they can be.  At least they have it and it's not lost in limbo somewhere (given how many docs they receive on a daily basis).

Re: Pulled the trigger on Citi Prestige

I received the snail main citi request for ssa-89. Their request letter says that by submitting the form i consent to doing ANOTHER credit pull. Any experiences? I froze my CRs after the initial HP/app.

Both mine and my DW's new Prestige cards (opened 12/15) were send FedEx Standard Overnight a day after approval, with no special request to do so. The cardmember agreements came UPS Next Day Air the day after the cards arrived.
