Question about MVP pop for Visa Comenity

Does anyone know with Comenity and this type of card, if you are preapproved for the Visa can they bait and switch you with a store card?

Total bait and switch. I'm so freaking mad at myself (to an extent lol).

I even tried to read as much as I could about the offer, it was pages and pages of text but I couldnt spot out anything saying if at the time of approval, you no longer meet our needs for Visa, we will give you a store card. So after I hit submit and receieved a 750 MVP credit card. I was maddddddd. Closed it on the phone line. Ill be bummed if I read it wrong or this email saying MVP credit card. I am sure it would say MVP Visa.

I am pretty sure that is the VISA and not the store card.  

The email is just the basic email that works for both cards but if you sign into your online account center right away, it will tell you if it's a store card or VISA.

The store card pre-approval looks different than your VISA one:

When I signed into the account, this is how it looks. I assume if it was a visa, it would show a visa logo somewhere?

That's what happened with my Gander Mountain app... it said visa but gave me store!

I thought in the past the system would only offer what you were approved for if they had both store and visa but it seems now if store card is option you might get it like sync which is to bad when you are not cold applying for it.

That is so annoying!!!! I have receieved the the pop-up for MVP store card before but that was months ago. So when I saw the visa, I was excited. I rather would have been declined than approved for that card.

As Far I know, they didn't do it to me. I got pre-approved for the Visa like a month ago. I got the Visa in the mail. It shows  Visa online.

I remeber when u got the preapproval, Ron. I tried it then and it showed MVP credit card. So today when i saw Visa, i got excited.
