Question about USAA CC

I got an email offer from USAA for a card with 0% for a year or so. Decided to apply. Yes I am a full USAA member. After I applied it said under review and I would get a decision in 2 hours or less. This was on sunday. Didnt get an email confirmation about the application and when i look on my usaa account I dont see anything about pending decision or anything. Under my offers .. the cc offer is still there?

Was a headache but I got approved for 15k. 

Here is the headache. I applied sunday night and unfroze experian because i heard that is what they pull. I got needs further review and then on monday I got a call from USAA saying to unfreeze equifax on a voicemail. I called them back and said should I just unfreeze equifax and reapply and they said fine because the other app was never finished. So i reapplied and instantly approved for 15k. This morning I see a second hard pull and I call them up and explain what happen. Apparenlty I have two usaa cc cards each with 15k limit. The first application automatically pulled when the report became unfrozen even though they told me that wouldnt be the issue. So I spoke with USAA today and they closed one of the cards and had me fill out a consumer report form to get the other hard pull removed. So i filled that out and now I am about to mail it in. If I didnt call in I would have never known I had two ccs with 30k total. Even when I logged into USAA it only showed one. Ugh.

Wow... that does sound crazy!

It sounds like with USAA they can pull either EX or EQ, so I guess it's best to unfreeze both before apping for a card with them.

Despite the confusion, congrats on an awesome approval!

Should have asked if incouldnhave combined the trade lines for a total of 30k .. Oh well

USAA will not combine accounts. Trust me, I closed one out today with $21k limit.. Congratulations to you on your approval.

I applied with them thinking the pull EQ.  I applied for a CC and an auto loan.  They pulled EX on the auto loan and EQ on membership and the CC's.  I was approved but I was shocked at the EX pull.
