Question on what should I apply for.

So my current scores which I am getting from this site are 619 EQ 636 EX 633 TU, and a 646 Bankcard score. I reccently recieved 4 hard hits in the past 60 days from new cards. I have really low limits on all my cards, and am trying to raise my limits so I can help boost my score. I have two secured cards I've opened 8 months ago the Discover It Card and the Capital One Secured. I have never missed a payment on them, but my limits are only $200. I then have a Fingerhut card that is a $800 limit, I opened a month ago and have yet to use. I also have a Target with $300 a Kohls with $300 a Walmart with $200 and a First Premier Bank with $400 (which I am going to try not to use since it's not really a good card). That's what I have and I'm looking to boost my profile. I'm looking for advice on cards I should apply for with decent approval odds. I appreciate any advice in advance!

Right now i think you have enough cards to start building off. You need to let these breathe a little and establish some good payment history. The limits will come as your score rises. If you keep applying right now all you will be doing is adding my hps to your young profile and even if approved most likely get toy limits. Id say give it 6-12 minths to age these cards, 12 being my recomendation Wally will blow up as your score rises. Target has become quite the card recently so much potential there. I'm with AverageJoesCredit...definitely hit the garden and let your profile grow. Especially if what's in your sig is your plan on getting a car in 9 months...garden time!

I agree with AJC - his advice applies to me too. I now have 8 cards and I really need to take a decent break to let them age and grow (and SD the oldest one, my Cap 1 secured, while I pay it down) and allow my scores time to recover from all the activity they've seen in the past six months!

Re: Question on what should I apply for.

Hey Joe, yeah, the rebuilding part is the hardest part to break from as we are constantly teaking and twerking out lineups. Eventually we take a step back and see what we have and realize e ouhh is enough for now. Best plan now is to focus on what you have and see what you might like better and use that as a goal card. Just make your profile look all spit and shine when going for it. Youve done splendid so far, congrats to youSmiley Happy

You could apply for Capital One Platinum. You can check their prequalify site to see if it pops up.
