Questions about Blispay... edit DENIED

I'm thinking about applying. Experian FICO 718. UTIL 8%. Only 1 account reporting balance. AAoA 7 mo. 11 inq EX. No baddies. My question is should I apply now with my highest CL reporting is $1k. If I wait till my CSP reports for the first statement my highest will be $5k. Would waiting for that $5k to report make a difference in my starting CL for Blispay if approved ? Catch is once the CSP reports, my AAofA will take a hit and I'll have more than 1 account reporting a balance. Thanks in advance.

Ymmv, but I would think you would score a $7500 CL

Re: Questions about Blispay...

^ I kinda doubt that. I wouldn't go guessing what people would be approved for as there's no way to know. Keep in mind this is a limited profile. Let us know how it goes OP

Re: Questions about Blispay...

Also with Blispay being a HTL it doesn't apply to Chase 5/24 right ? Can anyone chime in on that. Thanks.

Re: Questions about Blispay...

If blispay is hidden and does not show on your CR than how could Chase know about it? So yes, if it's hidden, it would not affect the 5/24 rule.

Re: Questions about Blispay...

UPDATE. I was denied. Called in and spoke to the CSR. Reasons for denial were length of time credit has been established. And too many new accounts. The CSR was very helpful in answering all the questions I had. Hope my data points help anyone thinking about applying.

Re: Questions about Blispay...

Sorry to hear about the denial.

Blispay is all over the place with their approvals and denials.  People with 800+ scores get DENIED or get APPROVED with $10-$12k limits.  People with 650-675 scores get denied... or get approved with a $2k SL.. or get approved with a $7500 SL.  There's no rhyme or reason to it and I've stopped trying to figure it out.
