Happy new year!
This morning I did two apps.
I apped for the Elan MCP through Renasant Bank. It looked like an approval. The screen showed a bunch of details about limit and APR (which I don't remember) and asked if I wanted to accept the offer. I clicked yes and eventually I just got to a screen that said thank you for banking with them or some such. There's nothing in my email. Should I expect a card and instructions to set up online access to come in the mail? How long should that take?
I also apped for the Synchrony Verizon Visa through my Verizon login. I filled out the app and hit submit, and the response was just that I'll receive a response in the mail in the next 7-10 days. Is this a denial? When I try to access the application now it tells me my account is not eligible. If it is a denial, I'd like to try recon if that's an option, before the bonus offer expires on 1/4.
It's entirely possible these answers were in the fine print, but I was pretty blitzed when I did this. Yes I'm the weirdo who dips out of a NYE celebration to go app for credit cards.

Sorry , cannot answer your Elan questions![]()
Synchrony is not known for recons.
The 7-10 day letter could just be ID verification?
I would call them and see "IF" that is what they need? .. (I went through that for a Lowe's application)
Happy New Year!
@MrDisco99 aka "Weirdo"
hopefully it's id verification like Smartie pants mentioned....hit them up and GL!
Congrats on the Elan! (fingers, toes, & eyes crossed for ya!)
btw: You're not alone in these parts buzz app'ing. It happens![]()
Thanks!
How do I get in touch with Synchrony to ask about my app?

You can try this number until you get a human:
"If you need technical support please contact: 866-647-9821.Your Verizon Visa® Card or Verizon Visa Signature® Credit Card is issued by Synchrony Bank. "

@MrDisco99 re Elan, you should receive a congratulations email detailing next steps that includes the SL. I received it approx 24hrs later but given it's a holiday weekend it may take a bit longer.
Happy Appying New Year!
The Elan app should be a done thing if it gave you a SL and APR, and you accepted it. It seems like a human signs off on the computer decision, then you start getting the final approval welcome notices. From what I remember it was 24 hours later when all that started showing up, but it'll likely be Monday for you.
I have no idea on Verizon. Synch is a different animal nowadays from when I dipped my toe into their pond.

I just called the Synchrony verification number in the backdoor numbers thread and spoke to someone who was able to verify my identity and approve the application.
Thanks everyone!

Hooray! $15k!?!

Yep... Didn't expect that. I only plan to use it for my $160/month phone bill, but I'll gladly take the util padding.
