Citi majors often involve a double pull but not always. There's no way to tell until you apply. The two times I was denied, they double pulled me, TU and EX. The third time I was approved with just a TU pull.
Thats one reason I guess you could say I'm gardening for now, I want to make sure I get that card the next time.
@Anonymous I wanted to add that the DGF was denied on 9/26/2020 for the same card the last inquiry she had was 9/26/2019.... she isn't a ficoer and didn't save her letter.. I wish I had and could provide more DP's on her denial.

Yeah Citi is being real stingy right now. I can't get a CLI from them to save my life because they haven't updated my internal score since July when I still had my BK on there.
They won't give me a CLI on core cards either, The only cited reason "Too Many Inquiries"
To be honest, that is fare, I am guilty as charged.

I kept getting denied for the tractor supply card despite running a lot through it and PIF every month. They didn't like my credit seeker ways...
