Applied for RC card for the 3-night offer, 30-day message on app, called and got 2-week notice.

I called recon to see if they could push it through but was told it has to go through the 'new process' for Chase cards. Will I be good to go? Scores are 730+ range, <15% util.

This is interesting. I would love to know the new process. Especially since I have a couple chase apps in that I've been waiting on......

Interested as well. I HUCA'd, rep was very nice he put me on hold and came back and said it can take up to 30 days for this process but normally done much faster and that he could not do anything on his end. Not sure if that's good or bad. Automated system says 2 weeks.

I'm sure you'll be approved.  The 2 week message almost always indicates a forthcoming approval.  I know it's hard but be patient and wait out their process and soon you'll have the card which btw can double as a weapon if need be.  Just throw it someone's head and it's guaranteed o knock them out.  Check your state laws for carrying a concealed weapon  and enjoy the card.

You should be good. The 7-10 day is almost an instant decline. Ritz is still not a very popular card with its AF. Chase would be happy to push it to you.

Update: Called verification this morning and they said that they had to verify some things and transferred me to Ritz/JPMorgan line, rep stated that it will take 1-2 weeks for a response on the application and there was nothing she could do to push it through. Wonder why so many 2 weeks/30 day messages lately.

Day 5 of pending. Called lending and very. Ice rep tried to expedite it but said that the specific department has to review it longer for security purposes. First time ever getting this from Chase. Getting restless because I have a few Marriott stays coming up.
