So I read on these forums how SDFCU pulls EX strictly for their credit cards. So I joined, opening up a basic checking & savings account using ACC (American Consumer Council) as the qualification. No problem. I than decided to apply for their unsecured VISA card, which in my opinion, has some incredible terms, including 6.9% APR for both purchases and cash advances and No AF. I filled out their application requesting 15K CL. This morning I received an email stating:
"Thank you for applying with State Department Federal Credit Union. We are glad that you chose SDFCU for your lending needs; however we must regretfully inform you that your online application HAS NOT been completed."
So I replied back with the ref # they gave me and than received another email to sign a document via DocUsign website. It showed my EX FICO2 score of 790 and basically a truth in lending form with their terms, 15K CL, 6.9% APR, etc..... So I signed using my finger and sent it back. Got a response stating they received it and no other doc's are remaining.
Does this mean I definitely was approved or is this just part of what they do prior to an approval or sending it to underwriting ??? Anyone else have experience with SDFCU ??? I'm hoping this means I was approved and with a 15K CL at 6.9% APR. Thanks.
You're approved but but most credit unions will still have an underwriter look at it. I'm sure it will go thru. Once they have you sign those docusign firms, it's pretty much all over other then mailing out your card. Congrats!. Great APR

Generally speaking with Amex: is it any harder to get one of their charge cards (Green, Gold, Gold Rewards, Plat) or one of their credit cards (Blue Cash, Everyday, etc...) ??? Any chance of apping for one of each the same day with 1 HP ??? If so, how, online or phone ??? Thanks !!
Generally the revolvers are harder to get then the charge cards. If you do it, go for both by applying for charge card then the revolver. The three charge cards have the same underwriting criteria so choose one that fits your needs and look for available offers out there. Apply online as there is no difference. Good chance that it will be one HP
