Has anyone noticed that Saks Fifth Avenue's Store Card and WEMC are now no longer underwritten by Capital One and are now with Comenity? Seems like the sort of thing someone would have posted or perhaps I missed it.
Additionally, in the past, the one way to get the WEMC version was to apply in-person in store. Now it appears you can PRE-QUAL via SP for both cards online. Anyone ventured down this path yet? The last SFA approvals I found were old CLI approvals
Tried to apply for a saks store card or there master card and all I can find is web page that says coming soon.
Anyone know whats going on with saks Fifth Ave or am I missing something?
Because Saks is moving its credit card portfolio over to Comenity/Bread. It should be complete in the 3rd quarter of this year. https://www.bdtonline.com/news/nation_world/bread-financial-signs-long-term-agreement-to-provide-dua...
I received an email today saying that the transition will happen on August 16th
Just noticed the change to Comenity on their website

wow - I figured you that would have a personal shopper.
Did not think you'd grab something 'off the rack' even at Saks.

They switched from Cap One to Comenity. You can apply now
I don't have a Saks card, but somehow I missed this news.
Capital One lost Walmart, now Saks... I wonder if this is a sign of the times for them?

My personal shopper is at Neiman Marcus but it's always nice to have options
