I applied Feb 17th for a chase marriott. Denied. No recon.. just figured it was not to be.
Applied and successfully reconned chase southwest and chase united yesterday for 5k each.
Should I call and try to recon the original Chase marriott and use the current credit report that they have including the two approvals or should I just thank my stars that I got the two others approved. Currently they are my highest limits ever.
I dont want to blow it by trying for the third one and getting them all closed.
Any advice highly appreciated.
You maybe pressing your luck with the 3rd recon since you just reconned 2. If you really really want the card go ahead and recon but if they say no ask if they can move some of your limits from your other chase cards to the Marriots denial app maybe they will do that instead.....Let us know what happens if you choose to recon.

I think you're right to worry about getting them all closed. Chase doesn't like aggressive credit-seeking. And it can be quite mean.
Be thankful you got 2 out of 3. Now stay off their radar.

Not going to push it. I'm grateful for what I've got. No need to be greedy. I'll wait six months or so. Most likely try again in November. I think a little time in the garden won't hurt me.
Age what I've got. And then I'll look better.
Thanks everyone!
That's the way to go.
