EX is 671, just got approved for Cap 1 Venture but it's not reporting and haven't received the card yet. One paid judgment from 2011, and one collection due to fall off in August, dispute is in process for early removal. 4 INQ, and almost 8 months of total revolving credit history
@Thexian,
What other cards do you have apart from the Venture? I'd at least wait for the collection to fall if I were in your shoes. That will give enough time for the Venture to also report to your reports.
I would wait for that collection to fall off. I had a great history with AMEX and that account still shows in my reports in good standing but closed from me. I had one baddie that fell off a couple months ago, but before it did I applied for AMEX again and was denied. This is before I got my second card so I had a thin file. I read they do like thin files, but that collection was grounds for denial.

Yeah another thing that I thought about after I posted this, was about having more spend bonuses than you can afford, if I was approved. So I'll just patiently wait lol
Good decision...
