Im sooooo itching to click the button to apply for the Quick Silver Card! Ive had my eye on this card for a while now! I'm right at 600 with my score right now and have a Cap. One Secured Card (801.00) a Fingerhut (700.00) Credit One (500.00) and a new Khols card (300.00) The Capt. One Card is secured however they just recently increased it without a deposit from 500 to 800. My Cap. One is completly paid down. Another Note: I have a BK that will be dropping off in 4 months so trying to wait, just have itchy finger! ![]()

The Quicksilver might be a little tough to get with a 600 FICO score. I you applied for it right now, you likely would not be approved. However, you would be a strong contender to qualify for their Quicksilver One card which offers the same 1.5% cash back with an annual fee. Maybe after a year they could convert it to a regular Quicksilver. I'm not sure if Capital One can PC a Quicksilver One to a no annual fee Quicksilver, but I do know that a PC between cards with Capital One is possible. Capital One upgraded my Platinum card to a Quicksilver after less than a month just by asking a CSR if it was possible. I know Capital One gets trashed a lot on here for customer service but my experience with Capital One has been wonderful.
Thanks for your Response. I agree the Quicksilverone is more of what I expect and that is what I would shoot for now.

I have had no baddies since 2009. I had some issues that year that set me back but since then overall been clean. Just finanaced a $25,000 auto about 4 months ago, but with a 15% rate. Once the BK falls off I will refi that one as well.

Did you check for pre-quals?
My fiance got approved with a lower FICO to upgrade from her secured card to real QuickSilver.
... letting that BK fall off will give you more options if you can wait.
I did check for prequail and I get this:
"Robert, we couldn't match your records to a card offer.
But based on your answers, we think you might like this card.
