Should I list the BOA as BT when asked on a new Chase application?

Applying for Chase Freedom Unlimited that I will be using for BT of a BOA card.  How does listing that information when asked on the application help or hurt?

If it matters, it’s $5300 on a card with a $25k credit limit.

I've wondered idly about if it helps/hurt for a long time. I don't think it hurts or helps and there's little on that except speculation.

Its convenient and gets the transfer started sooner, I'd punch it in during the application process if thats what you'd like

Banks don't offer BTs because they are generous but rather as a whole will profit from them. Certainly will not hurt your approval chances.

I tend to omit a bt request from a card app.  Not because it impacts likelihood of approval, but because if the assigned limit is smaller than hoped for, I may wish to reduce the bt request to avoid excessive utilization (I don't want to go over 50%).

Makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the input.
