Should I try BofA cli again...imput appreciated...

I run through about $1k a month on my Alaska card and I use my cash rewards for balance transfers mainly.

Got a BofA Alaska card 6 months ago with a $17k starting limit...

Got a BofA Cash Rewards card 6 months ago with a $8k limit...

Request a cli button showed up 3 months later and I took the pull for an increase to $27,200 on Alaska and $14,800 on Cash Rewards for a total exposure of bascially 1/2 my income to $42k.

Buttons just showed up today and I'm tempted to try for a cli but I don't want to shift limits...would like a line increase specifically on my Alaska card. Any input on if you think I've hit my internal limit or I could possibly hit $35k on my Alaska card.

Other high limit cards are Amex EDP @ $24k, Citi AA @ $18k, Barlcays Hawaiian at $16k, & Lowes Advantage @ $35k

Go for it! I suspect you've not hit that wall yet. I'm guessing you'll get atleast another $8k between both cards. I requested a CLI recently on my two CC's wit BofA. Adding up both limits, I was given exactly $50k exposure. I don't believe that was an accident, but what was already predetermined by their monthly SP review.

I would go for it! Your cards have grown really nicely and the current CLs seem like they have more wiggle room. Once you get another increase depending on what it is then I would maybe think you've reached the limit.
