I recently got an offer for 50,000 Skymiles with the Delta Amex that I would like to take advantage of, however that offer expires 5/31 and I was going to wait until I had six months' credit history before applying for Amex however I will have only have had six full months' history on June 2nd, after the offer deadline.
What I am wondering is how strict would Amex be on the fact that my credit history is not actually 6 full months old yet?
I have had a secured Discover it Chrome with a $500 limit since December of 2014, about $12-14K income (not including school financial aid which would be an additional $19K - not sure if I should include this- ) and some subsidized student loans (I am in my second year of undergrad).
Thanks in advance for any advice!
Is the offer from Delta or Amex?
Go ahead and go for it and include all your income.

I got the email from Delta (probably because I'm already a Skymiles member?)

So you think it would be alright for me to put down $31-34K?

The WorLd Is Yours
Also, I was planning on applying for the PRG as well. Should I apply for that first then the Delta? Does it make a difference?
Thanks again to all!
We did the PRG and got approved, then instantly did the ED and got approved for the DW.
Only difference is she had a prescreened PRG offer in the mail.
