SoFi credit card not BK friendly/minimum score

I applied for the SoFi credit card since you won't get a hard pull if denied so I said what the heck and applied. I was denied. I do have a discharged BK 7 as of July 30, 2020. Experian Fico 8 score at time of application was a 656 and denial letter stated "Minimum score under credit scoring system not met" "Bankruptcy" and "Delinquent past or present credit obligations with others" so I would assume a 670 minimum as well as 2 years (or 5 years) post BK discharge but that is just my guess. Apple Card and SoFi offering a hard pull only if approved is a great thing so it doesn't hurt to apply and see what happens.

Yes, SoFi changed that UW [HP] policy just recently for denied applications.

SoFi WEMC is issued by the Bank of Missouri (TBOM) which from previous research is very conservative. The SoFi approval process is all Algo driven with no Recon. The BK is most likely a hardcoded disqualifier although no DP's on length of DC if any.
