I'm telling you I'd call and ask if you can speak to a supervisor regarding a recently submitted recon letter.  IME, Penfed is MUCH better when you actually speak to a live body -  unlike CHASE for example lol.  Never call UW there!  PenFed has VERY nice, down to earth LOs.  But to each their own!  Best of luck OP
