Has anyone been pre approved when you did a check out will them lately and it was a SP for approval? Has anyone gotten any SP approval with Comenity lately?
The following link should provide some insight, especially the last few pages:

A cursory search in the Approvals forum shows a mix of SP and some HP approvals using the SCT.
Has anyone gotten any pre approvals lately with Comenity? I got one from the Sportsman's Guide Visa and that is it. Why can't I get ones from Bed Bath and Behind or BigLots stores that I would use?!?! LOL. If anyone has and taken the offer was it a SP or a HP?
Yes, Sportsman Guide Visa offer came up while shopping online (SCT).
The pop up window opened and was valid, they did a SP (last 4 SSN) and came back with $7500 SL.
I have had this card for 6 months now and try to use it less than 10% utilization and PIF....

Did they run a hard pull once you were approved for their visa through the SCT?

I was approved for mine in October of 2020. I was making a purchase and got the pre approval pop up. It asked for the last 4 of my SS and I accepted....mine was a soft pull.
I recieved a shopping cart pop up in May and applied, approved $3800. Last 4 digit SSN, SP only. I was in the Dirty Mature ~700 FICO at the time.

No HP.
It was a SP and instant approval online.
Immediate credit of $1000 was offered while shopping online but I waited until the card arrived and it was $7500.
One of my higher SL cards.
So far used it enough to pay for some free stuff (rewards points = $)....

is the lender one of those lenders that always changes your credit limit? Meaning they lower your credit limit if you do not use their cards enough or add too many other lender credit cards?

The short answer is yes Comenity will do this albeit not at the same degree as Synchrony for example. If you search this site you'll find examples.
