I was looking for a card with 0% introductory rate and found my bank offered 24 months through Elan Financial. I applied for the card and was approved for $7500. I was then taken to a window to do balance transfers and added 3 cards to transfer a total of $3,000 dollars from. When I clicked finished, it said I had timed out and needed to start over. When I did, it said they couldn't give me a decision on my application at this time. Wasn't I already approved????
That was last night and 24 hours later I haven't received any emails or phone calls, but I do see that they pulled my credit report. I haven't ever experienced anything like this before. Has anyone else?

Hi @KeithW , I would follow up with a phone call.
I probably will. I expected them to call or email.
Yes, I had that happen with NFCU and DCU. Secured message and phone call, respectively, took care of it. This is why I don't do the balance transfers during the app. Usually, you have between 2-4 months to initiate the BT so I wait until the app is complete. If I won't be getting account access in a reasonable amount of time, I'll call in and let the csr set up the BT for me.

You would think they'd call or email, but that is not always the case, in fact many times they don't.
You pretty much have to be pro active.
Expect those transfers to take 2 weeks in order to process.
I like US bank, but the BT times are off the charts!😂
I equate the US bank BT checks being delivered by pony express circa 1885.😆😆😆
Definitely give them a call. And may the force be with you on those BTs.
That was strange. I sent them an email and received a welcome email at 2:40am saying my card was on the way. Coincidence? I think NOT!

I did a small BT on my Elan card once and they paid BoA within 48 hours.
