I did pay off my boa cc today to, I may wait untill it post on my credit report too, it may be a really good idea, it may boost my credit score few more points.
any suggestions????
@Anonymous wrote:ok, Im going to do that next week monday or tuesday, today I just requested a cli on my 500$ capital one cc , I'm going to wait and see the outcoming is.
unless you did it through EO, onine if it's not instant it's declined.
This Chase Freedom would replace half of the cards you have in my opinion.
I would close Merrick, Credit One, Both First Premier, Cortrust and maybe even capital one if you have one that has an annual fee.
yes its a good idea to closed all the small cc, I did apply fot the cli on line, any one have the back door number of capital one so i can call I find ouot about the cli and maybe recom if it is declined?
Since you're already preapproved, definitely go for the Chase Freedom. Chase's Prequal site tends to be very accurate.

messaged you the number
Apply for the Freedom. If you get approved, I would close everything with less than $1000 limit and anything with an annual fee. If the QS has an annual fee, you're only getting 0.5% over the freedom, you'd have to spend more than $7800 per year on the QS that would otherwise be 1% (as opposed to 5%) in order to justify the fee. No annual fee card, just leave them open to help your utility and AAoA.
ok kool,
look at my profile at the begining of the topic and let me ask you a question,
do you really thinkg that i have a shot to get approved for the freedom card?
Anecdotal evidence is that Chase's online pre-approval screen is pretty accurate. I think you have a reasonable chance. However, regardless of whether you succeed or not, I would refrain from applying for more credit for six months (after you apply for the Freedom, of course)
ok, thats sounds good,
let me ask you another question:
whats about amex bce or discover it?
