Hi everyone!
I was in the process of applying for an Amazon store card with the holidays coming up and me being an avid Amazon shopper, it made sense to. But, I received this when I went to put in my social. Has this ever appeared for anyone else? If so, what did you do? It's not letting me move on even though I know my social is correct.
Help please!
Have you attempted to apply with a different browser/device to see if the issue persists?

I have and nothing is working
Have you tried with and without dashes?

Then it sounds like an Amazon/Synchrony issue possibly with their systems at this time. I would give it a ltitle bit before trying again or if you have the time call customer service to see if there are any reported issues. Mayeb you can even apply over the phone if that is an option

I don't have anything to add to what others have suggested, but I did want to point something out before you apply. Since you're a fellow avid Amazon shopper, do you have Prime? If so, you might want to apply for the Amazon Prime Store Card instead--that's what I have, and its 5% cash back is awesome!

We don't know what their 5/24 status is at present. That and in their post history the OP indicated they have a BK on file which is a non-starter for Chase til it drops off

Okay... But the OP was having a problem with their SSN not being accepted. Since they're applying for a CC, I have to guess that they're qualified for it, or at least think they are. Since the Prime card has better benefits AND they're an avid Amazon shopper, I thought I'd throw that out there before they actually apply.

Okay, now you have lost me. The OP is already attempting to apply for the Amazon Store card; if they have Prime it will automatically earn the 5% Amazon purchases there is not another card so to speak. I had assumed when you suggested another Amazon card you were talking about the Chase Amazon Prime cards. Only other ones I am aware of is the two business versions AMEX offers. The two Amazon cards Chase provides are the regular Amazon and Amazon Prime depending on membership. Again, both not viable as long as the BK is on their reports

Yes, there are multiple cards.
I have the Amazon Prime Store Card; it earns 5% cash back on all purchases; you must be a Prime member to qualify for it. Then there's the Amazon Store Card, the Chase Amazon Visa card, another Chase card (Visa?), and a secured Amazon store card. I think that's all of them! (Not including business cards.)
