Just wondering how hard is it to get Synchrony Bank CC after recent BK7?

Welcome to MyFico. How fresh is your BK? Where they included in it?
The only SB card I have experience with is Care Credit. From what I've seen, it looks like they are very easy to get approved. However, did you include them in your bankruptcy? That could have a lot to do with their decision...
Mine is few months old and they were not included.Tried Walmart CC, no luck so far. Called recon # it was ridiculous, got transferred to one of those countries overseas, quality of the call was horrible and they hung up on me![]()
I would suggest you start with a secured credit card. Wells Fargo is pretty good about overlooking baddies on your credit report when you apply for their secured card.

The old rule of thumb was that you needed to be 2+ years out of BK for Synchrony. However, there have been many reported successes before that timeframe. YMMV.
Seems like rule 2+ years applies to a lot of banks, except big sharks like Chase, Citi etc.
My Bk was final last year and I included a bunch of synchrony accounts and I was approved this month for Walmart, CareCredit and Amazon.. All instant approvals.. So there is definitely a chance.
Bankruptcy still too fresh. Mind U overall profile is certainly a consideration but generally speaking no go. Assuming a solid profile otherwise U may want to try again 6-12mo's but as an alternative in the meantime I agree, secured cc is viable option to consider (assuming U havent already).

Thanks
I have couple CC's already and trying to get secured one as well, so probably would make sense to make about 6-12 payments and then reapply.
Can anyone share their experience about Synchrony Bank CC customer service? Do all CC's have call center overseas? Just curious because my experience with Walmart was terrible
