I just applied for the Meineke card needing some work done to my car and got denied. I noticed on the application it said Synchrony Car Care instead of just Synchrony Bank like other store cards they offer. I have a good relationship with Synchrony (never late, low utilization, $4K limit Walmart, $5k Amazon, $2k Dick's.)
Wondering if they're different, or if they're the same and I was just denied becuase of two recent CLI increases on two of those cards mentioned. At the time I applied I only had one recent inquiry on my reports, and my is score mid-600's. Figured I'd at least get approved with even a low SL.
