Well what we're referring to here isn't really auto-CLI's, we're referring to customer-triggered soft-pull CLI's. Read the thread but not referenced it here.

Thank you for your suggestions Smiley Happy

Gulp. That's what I get for not reading more thouroughly. Smiley Embarassed

Re: The BarclayCard CLI Soft Pull thread

I called in today to check on any offers on my account and go another 0% Apple purchase financing offer for the next 30 days (want the Apple watch) and also got a 1% APR reduction. No SP CLI but not surprised since I got one 1 month after account opening. Hoping to get some auto love when my 7th statement cuts on the 10th. If not, I'll call back. I'll need more that a $1400 CL to buy my new MBP Smiley Tongue

Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!

Congratz on the 1% and temporary APR offer! I hope you like the apple watch when you get it!

I am not getting any LUV from Barclays, next month will be a year since my Ring approval and still with the same CL...I guess they did not like all my new accounts since then!!

Mia, did you call the UW line so they could transfer you to Customer Service?  The CSR's seem to know if there are offers on your account.  I had to specifically ask if there was "a lower apr available" or "any other offers" for my account?  She saw them right away.  The UW told me his department couldn't help with offers -- that's why he transferred us.

Ultimately, it's the "relationship manager" that you want to talk to!

I called and they said " No offers for me" at this time, I do not want a HP for a CLI. I will wait until June and let see if the decide an auto CLI.

I would just try once a month and see if they pop up. All of these people getting LUV at random times in different scenarios. And I say once a month because you have a year of none. If someone just got, I wouldn't continue to keep trying, I'd wait 6 months per because that seems to be the generally accepted amount of time to ask for a CLI. Someone in this thread didn't get one and tried a few days later and then did get something. So who knows...

Re: The BarclayCard CLI Soft Pull thread

OK, here's my story with Barclays: Rec'd approval for Rewards MC on Aug. 2, 2014, CL given was $1K; 7th statement posted March 4, 2015 (no auto CLI given). Called in today and got APR reduction of 1% to 23.99. Rep offered a SP to check on raising my CL, (I hadn't asked). I re-verified that it would indeed be a SP as I did not want HP.  She assured me it was SP, then proceeded to raise me by a whopping $200.  A 0%  BT was then offered, but I declined (thinking about apping for Discover IT soon for this).  Pretty conservative CLI, but we'll see what happens at the 14th statement.

Starting Score Feb. 2013: 568
Current Scores: TU (715) {Myfico} EQ {Myfico} (723) EX (751)
Goal Scores: All at 750 by 3rd Qtr 2016 (Before tackling 800's) Don't procrastinate, take the first step!

If your concern is the conservative CL, then skip Discover.

Re: The BarclayCard CLI Soft Pull thread

Looking for opinions about this. My Rewards card hasn't received an increase since I got it last May. Started with $2500. I swapped credit limits with my Apple card in November so it's now $8000. I don't know if that messed up CLIs or not. The APR for the Rewards card is 22.9% and the Apple Rewards card is 18.9%. I've been planning on calling Barclays but wondering if I should wait a few days until my recent Walmart and JCP CLIs report. Both more than doubled. Does that look better when they review reports or do they not even notice things like that?
EQ - 698 / TU - 672 / EX - 686

Capital One Savor - $16000 / Capital One Venture - $13000 / Travel Advantage Visa - $11500 / TD Cash Card - $7500 / Bread Rewards AMEX - $6950 / Apple Card - $6500 / TD Double Up - $5500 / Mercury - $5000 / Ally Master Card - $4300 / DCU Visa - $3000 / Capital One QuickSilver - $500

Re: The BarclayCard CLI Soft Pull thread

I'm definitely giving this a shot after my Barclay FICO updates. Got the Rewards Mastercard last Jan. at $1500 and no auto luv yet. During the same time I got $4700 Sallie Mae and after the 7th statement I got a CLI to $8700, so I think my chances are decent. My Rewards gets steady monthly usage for utilities but not very much of the total CL, probably only $100 so not sure if I'll be eligible. I'll report back.

Quicksilver - 16k | Discover It - 34k | Citi DC - $21k | Chase Amazon - 8k | Chase Reserve - 19.5k | Chase Preferred - 5k | EX FICO (Discover CSC) 788

I can't tell you if waiting until your reports update will help, but I don't think it can hurt.  I did not get the impression that they do a SP at the time you call, or that you talk to an analyst.  My impression is they were using the latest SP, and the offers are computer generated.  So you'd have to wait for your reports to update and then for Barclays to SP, before you call, IMO.
