Got too exicted and applied for 3x CLI on my SPG but I think it has only been 60 days. Got 7-10 day message then an immediate email with a decision saying I haven't had the card long enough. I'm pretty sure tomorrow is the right day to apply. There's nothing wrong with applying after midnight tonight right? Just wanna make sure, I don't want to raise any red flags by applying too many times when i'm not eligible.

I just spoke to an AmEx rep about something (changing due dates) and started asking questions about their CLI policies. She told me that the 61 day CLI and then 6 month CLI rules are on an account-by-account basis (not per person amongst all cards). I asked if I opened 2 new AmEx cards within a few days of each other, could I request 61 day 3x CLIs on both and get approved, and she said yes. This seems to conflict the the sticky guide in this forum. Just another mistaken rep, or a new policy?

The following often (but not always) are potential reasons why Amex asks for 4506T for a CLI request. 

• New requested credit limit exceeds $25,000 for that particular account.
• New requested credit limit would make overall credit extended across all Amex revolving accounts exceed $34,500 (post 123)
• High internal risk score due to income on file to overall credit across amex and non-amex accounts ratio being too low.
• Unusual/large/manufactured/risky spending patterns.

My last CLI from 5k to 15k was April 1, I don't have the option online to request an increase. Is this normal?

181 days since the last CLI. You have to wait an additional 181 days since the day you actually get the CLI.

e.g Say you opt to go for CLI on day 65 which is today and get approved for it today. To find out first eligible date for the next CLI, you would go to time and date calculator website and add 181 days to October 17 which is April 16, 2014
