Yeah. That's kinda common sense wouldn't you say? That's unusual around here.
Now be nice, I only see that analogy correct for around 25% (give or take)
First round worked for me like a charm! $1k to $3k. Looks like a late April, early May timeframe for me. FYI, I was at about 38% utilization, but had previously made payments that brought the balance down to about 10% utilization.

So this is where I have questions; is one only suppose to ask for 3x your initial credit limit? So in your example, I am assuming you asked for 3k. What would happen if you ask for 25k first time out of the gate? Would Amex counter, accept, or auto deny? When I app'd, my file was extemely thin - I was just an AU, so I only got approved for 2k. My income is 6 figure, so I would be more than happy to submit supporting documentation to receive a more fitting limit. However, I guess everyone is doing what is known to work. I am just curious about other scenarios.

From what I understand, it's no longer an instant denial if you ask for more than 3x. They will counter. If you qualify for 3x, that is the max you'll get.
The 28th is my 62nd day on my ED. I wonder if my CLI from July on my BSP will affect it.
My 61 day is Monday 10/27 as well. Not to confident in gettng increase though. Credit score 711 on experian but have opened 10 new accounts this year. However, none since amex. I have 12 inquires wwith AA of A 8 yrs and oldest acct 23. Several late payments 1,5 yrs ago. I was approved for Delta Sky miles at $5500. Anyone had any luck with this type of profile. Thanks

Do it. Best way to find out. (Don't listen to me)
