I'm not exactly sure, but a few pages back some members were saying that it was switched to 91 days. Then others said reps told them it was switching back to 61 days? No clue if it ever really changed within Amex or not
Edit*** I think some members were confusing the timeline for denials and the 61 days after account opening - sorry!
Thanks 3x CLI guide! I just opened my mail today, activated my card, and got approved from 2K to 6K. Not a huge limit, but they just auto bumped my limit on my Amex Everyday from 9k to 12k on March 5th. 1 more year of 0% interest

Congrats! Waiting on my ED card as well.
Got my SPG in the mail today. Decided to test and see whether I could raise the limit from 15,000 to 25,000. Got the 7-10 message and an automatic email that says to call in. I'm not going to bother, I guess, because from what I can tell it's always a denial. I know everybody says the 61 days thing isn't a thing anymore, but it possibly is for some credit profiles. I just thought the fact that I have an older PRG would make a difference. Oh well. A 15k starting credit limit is still something to be proud of. And we'll see how things go in 91 days.

This is going to sound like a stupid question, you started at 2000, I'm confused on if you then ask for 6000 or do you ask for what you want the new limit to be (8000).
I recently did this, and it worked great.

Got the amex everyday card 5 months ago, approved for a $6,000 limit (which I already thought was a lot). Then I read this post yesterday and decided to try for the 3x increase. No hard pull, no problem. Instantly approved online for $18,000.
I was feeling good so I figured I'd try the same with my BoA Travel Rewards card (also 5 months old, $5,000 credit line). I figured I'd try $12,000. Was instantly approved online for $10,100. I think it was worth the hard pull for me.
Just wanted to thank the people in this post for giving me some courage to hit the buttons. My credit limit drastically increased overnight.
Hi guys.
I'm new to myfico and I'm happy to be here. I got approved for BLE last week for 10K limit. In your opinion after 61 days should I ask for 25K or it's too high?
thank you

Welcome to MyFico
No one can say for sure without knowing a lot more about your credit file but generally $25K is safe and if they don't want to give you that much, they'll make a counter offer
Thank you so much. My FICO score is 760 now and I don't carry any balance. Total of available credit is 50K.
thank you.

A lot also depends on your income but if it is sufficient , go ahead and ask for the $25K or even 30K
