Day 61: Delta Reserve (Personal) 6k to 18k
Today: Day 181: SPG (Business) 10k to 30k.
In 6 months we'll see, I'm not sure I want to try much more.

Don't be a square. All the cool kids are doing it! Oh, the joys I would (will? pleasepleaseplease) have with a $90k SPG.
Congrats! Going from $16k to $48k on two cards in 8 months is IMPRESSIVE!
Guys my BCE just became eligible for a cli request. It is currently at $18k. I plan on asking for 30k. What is the process if I get asked for a financia review? do I just hit back in my browser and request a smaller amount until approved, or do I decline and then request a smaller amount. Dont want to screw it up lol
Disregard post above. Just requested a cli from 18k to 30k and it was instantly approved!
Glad I know of this thread. I am < 61 days into first account opening so I will wait til 61 days. What I do not understand, though, is why I see an offer to request a CLI. I wonder if they do it to flag certain accounts as desparate and measure who many click too early vs not. It's just strange to offer it if we couldn't possibly qualify for a CLI < 61 days of first account opening.
Curious if anybody here has had success with it when the total amex history is < 61 days. Either way, on 10/24 I will find out if I qualify for a 3x cli.
Tried a CLI today. Second AMEX card just at a year old. Other card is old with a 25k limit since issued. Tried to jump the year old card from 15k to 25k and got the dreaded 7-10 day response.

The short answer to your question in the first paragraph is that it seems to show up regardless of whether you are actually eligible or not once your utilization hits a certain point. The long answer is in this thread when I first noticed it 2 months ago. Some very rare people have had success asking for a CLI at activation or prior to the 61 day mark (which I can only assume means they may have actually been eligible at activation, but obviously no two profiles are the same so we can neither prove nor dispel that). You can always try - if you get the 7-10 day message followed by an email asking you to call it just means that you asked too early (you don't need to call). Otherwise, day 61 you're good. Best of luck!

Sorry to hear that! Was the 15k card still at the starting limit or have you received a CLI on that previously?

No CLIs on any cards. Not sure what happened exactly?
