Yea, I'm pre-approved for everything when I log in. I pulled the trigger 2 months ago and got approved for $1k
I'm still pre-approved for everything and want the Hilton card but don't want another $1k SL.
The temptation is real...

If it’s your second Amex, you got a better chance of getting it with a higher SL.. How does your profile look? Recent Inquiries? AAOA?
Get your credit scores - especially Experian - over the 700 threshold and you'll have significantly better chances for a good substantial credit line.

I got BCP in June 2017, this was BCE in Feb this year. Lots of inquiries, AAoA was about 2yr8mos, clean, 1 late mortgage payment from my renters in 2015. I wasn't too surprised because my SL for my BCP was also $1k then to $3k in Dec. I did receive SUB's on both cards though. I'm banking on 3x again in June and then again in Dec. Not in any hurry for another card. Need to decide whether to keep BCE or BCP. I was happy it was a soft pull that's part of the reason I did it, to see.

Thanks. I figured. I don't need anything right now. Mostly impatient in waiting on the CLI's with AMEX but it takes time.

It's definitely odd to be pre-approved for almost everything on their site. lol At one time I never would have stood a chance with them.
They're really pushing that Platinum card though, it keeps poping up as pre-approved! Getting it again 2 months after apping for the PRG and Delta Gold.

They want that AF!
Justed wanted to say thanks for everyone's advice especially BrutalBodyShots. I asked for the full 48k and was instantly approved. I wasn't prompted at all with the IV. Very informative forum and appreciate all the help.
