Both the DW and I would like to grow our Flagship limits. She is past the time frame for a CLI and I am nearing 6 months. I am maxed at $80k and she is at $77.5k. Is it wise to decrease another card by $8k and then try for a CLI on the FS?
We each have one $30k+ card that is never used. I wish they would just combine accounts again or allow for moving credit limits.

Does Navy allow moving credit limits between cards?

It is too bad they don't for those who are maxed out exposure wize, but it is what it is. Currently it may be a few years process but we will see.

I would leave well enough alone.
Also...if you do those reallocations...it DOES reset the 6 monthly CLI eligibility window
I was successful in moving stuff around, eliminating 1 card and allocating to now only 2 but needed to wait another 6 months to get the final CLI taking me to the $80K threshold

Yes, best case that way of the turtle, every 6 months would take 3+ years.
