Hi Everyone,
I would like to see if i could get some advice on my thin file and what cards I have a chance at getting.
I currently have a Secured Bankamericard 1000 CLI, A Capital One Quicksilver one 300, and a Capital one Secured 300.
My Credit Karma score is 675 I have 10 inquires.
I was hopefully looking for a Barclays or a Chase maybe an Amex.
No negitive items on my report oldest card is from September 10

You can try discover IT , are those 10 inquries recent? Try chase, amex preapproval links.
Yes those Inquires are all with in the last three months I tried the Prequlification links but none of them could generate an offer,
I Apped for the Discover It two times and got declined even after attempting to recon.
I'm having the same problem, crediters want a long history I guess? my score's a 704, on my credit tracker..
If that quicksilver one is your only unsecured card I wouldnt try amex. Maybe you should try to get some store cards maybe 1 or 2 to build up your file alittle better as they are easier to get and then try for prime cards later.

Get your real fico score. It's going to be a bit on the harder side to get those prime cards if you only have 2 months history. Chase is going to want to see at least 1 year of history and Amex is 6 months and that's not always guaranteed either. Barclay is kind of sensitive to inquires and new accounts. I think the best bet is to let the accounts age before trying. No point in wasting more inquires.
Acually FICO could not generate as my accounts are not more than 6 Months. So Im not really sure I even tried for the Barclay Card rewards and got declined.
2 months of history is really short...wait 6 months-1 year and have perfect payment history and you should be good for Chase, Amex, and Barclays. Inquiries hit thin files harder than thick ones.
It doesn't seem hard for thin files to get prime cards as long as you don't have baddies.
Quicksilver $10,000 | Better Balance Rewards $2000 | Sallie Mae $3500 | Freedom $3500

Theres your issue. I know when i got my first CC, i tried applying for others and got denied due to short history. Once your cards age over 6 mos. you should be able to get a few more cards.

You can look in my sig to see my cards. I got my fist card 7/30/14. I think AmEx is easiest/best if you have high income.Citi gave me my first unsecured card after i called the EO.
