I apped for the Amazon Store Card just about a month ago in the hopes of getting cash back on a dining room set that I have had my eye on. I received a measly limit of $250, which doesn't go far. I have tried for CLI both via phone and chat and get denied each time. I have made two purchases on the card (both about $150) and paid in full. Do you think I will qualify for a CLI once the statement posts, or should I just put it on my Discover card and take the 2% cashback with the match.
Synch can be funny. I got the Amazon card with a 700 starting limit, and it took excatly 3 statement cuts before i could get it up to 5,000 which is where it's at now. My hubsand got the card in Novemeber of 2017 with a 300 limit and within the first statement cut they gave him an auto cli to 4,800. It might take you the whole 3 statements for them to raise it, but if your score is in the 700,s it will go pretty high. Hang in there!!
Fingers crossed I get a CLI at statement cut. I can live without a dining room table, but don't really want to wait two more months. However 5% back vs 2% might be worth it!
Close Credit One... you are beyond that now.
Ive had mine for six months and its still at 600, meanwhile my walmart card went from 500 to 3500 at the 60 day mark and my bp card went from 200 to 2000 three weeks after i got it
it makes perfect sense

I called to cancel it and the waived the AF for three months. Once that is up I will get rid of it.
