Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
The Capital One Secured is going to take a while for you to start seeing the benefits of it so don't get discouraged. I have a Cap 1 secured that I applied for in July 2016 but the card didn't actually start reporting until October because Cap 1 gives you 3 months to continually fund the card to establish your limit. So you may not start seeing the benefits of responsible use for another 5-6 months after it finally reports. But it's a good start to rebuilding.
Definitely look into a SSL loan. I consolidated my student loans and when they finally reported, my credit score jumped 40-50 points on each report.
Good luck to you
