I applied and was approved for the Cap1 Savor card on 04/27/18 with an underwhelming SL of $1K. By far my lowest limit. After 3 months of heavy use with multiple monthly payments to stay below 28.9% UTL and auto PIF at the end of each month, I just tried for a SP CLI. They offered a whopping $100. Needless to say I turned it down to keep the clock from resetting. I'm saving for a new car in December so I can't afford to burn a HP right now.
I guess I'll try again in another month.
Sorry about the low CLI. Did Capital One change their CLI policy? I have 2 Capital One cards and have never received a hard pull for a CLI.
I think the option to "Ask for more" results in a HP.
What are your credit scores?
DON'T WORK FOR CREDIT CARDS ... MAKE CREDIT CARDS WORK FOR YOU!
Yep. We've this too often. Besides the triple pulls for apps and lame SLs, this is yet another one of the reasons i will never have a relationship with these _________.
Yes just do not accept it and try again in 2 weeks - 1 month or so. Good luck!
Lame SL at what credit score?
What bank (not credit union) is dramatically better at the same said credit score and the same time of application?
There are plenty of people on here that have received $10k-$30k SL on Cap One with credit scores around or even under 700.
There are many banks for a reason, but it is not really fair to bash a bank that gives you a low SL when most other banks would flat out deny you to start with.

+1
Capital One is someone to avoid once you get your score over 660. I think they prefer people with lower scores who carry balances so they can charge them outrageous interest.
